Processing & Delivery

How Long Your Transaction Stays Open

Reasonable Time to Gather Documents

We understand it can take time to collect all required documents, especially for complex transactions involving estates or multiple parties. However, all transactions have a 6-month validity window from the date of payment. If a transaction is not completed within 6 months, it will be closed and the fee is forfeited. We will send you a notice at least 30 days before your transaction is scheduled for closure, so you have time to wrap things up or reach out if you need assistance.

Typical Timeframes

Standard transactions: Most customers complete document collection within 1-2 weeks

Estate transactions: May take 2-4 weeks to obtain court documents

Complex situations: Can take longer depending on circumstances

Keeping Your Transaction Active

To keep your transaction open:

Communicate with us about your progress

Let us know if you’re waiting for specific documents

Respond to any requests for information

Submit documents as you receive them (you don’t need to wait for everything)

Extended Delays

If you need more time within your 6-month window:

Contact us to explain the situation

We can note your file to keep it active

Keep in mind that the 6-month validity period is firm — once it expires, fees cannot be refunded or transferred to a new transaction.
