Document Requirements

Additional Documents for Private Company Shares

Special Requirements for Private Securities

If the shares are of a private company (not publicly traded on a stock exchange), we need additional documentation to verify the legitimacy of the securities and your ownership rights.

Required Additional Document

Please include the purchase agreement or subscription agreement that shows:

When you acquired the shares

The terms of your ownership

Any transfer restrictions

The company’s acknowledgment of your ownership

The price at which you purchased the shares (strike price) and price you are authorized to sell them at

Why This is Necessary

Private company shares don’t have the same public records and regulatory oversight as publicly traded stocks. The purchase or subscription agreement helps us verify:

The shares are legitimate and have the right to transfer them

There are no restrictions preventing transfer

The transfer complies with the company’s rules

Please note that we reserve the right to request additional documentation to ensure your transaction can be processed.
