Shipping Security Requirements

Where we ship

For security and liability purposes, we only ship originals to:

  • Addresses listed on a valid driver’s license or government-issued ID (U.S. addresses only).
  • Directly to the transfer agency.

We will always email you scanned copies of the completed documents, regardless of where the originals are shipped.

Why these restrictions exist

These shipping restrictions protect you from:

  • Identity theft and fraud.
  • Unauthorized redirection of valuable documents.
  • Interception of sensitive financial information.
  • Potential liability issues.

If your address has changed

If you’ve recently moved and your ID shows your old address:

  • Update your ID with your state’s DMV first, if possible.
  • Contact us to discuss alternatives.
  • We may be able to ship directly to the transfer agent instead.
  • Additional verification may be required.

Documents mailed to us

We strongly prefer electronic document submission. If you mail physical documents that could have been submitted electronically (scans, copies, supporting documents), you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Physical mail should be reserved for documents that require original or wet-ink signatures, such as the form that needs the medallion stamp.

We do not ship to

  • PO Boxes.
  • Mail forwarding services.
  • Third-party addresses.
  • International addresses.
  • Hotels or temporary addresses.

Tracking and insurance

All shipments include:

  • Full tracking information sent to your email.
  • 2-day priority shipping.
  • Appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Signature requirement for high-value documents.
